Reflecting back on the past couple of months, I have enjoyed
writing blog as “Media Man.” I have also
learned a lot over these past couple of months about writing blogs. Exploring different avenues when analyzing articles
and learning to focus more on understanding your readers has changed the way I
write a blog. There are also a number of
copy-write laws I was unaware of, you have to be careful when using pictures
and quotes from the Internet, a lot of this information is protected under copy-write
laws.

Deciding what type of digital media subject to write about
was not difficult. There were many interesting
articles and subjects that dealt with today’s digital media. I have written about Skype and how under rated
this great program is. I have written
about SEO, PPC and how they affect what shows up on the search engines; but my
favorite blog post to date was, “Even Apple’s not Perfect.” This blog post was about, Tim Cook, the new
CEO of Apple Inc. and his apology for the glitches and programming faults with
the new Apple maps app included in the i06 software, and iPhone 5. What made this apology from Tim Cook so interesting
is that the late Steve Jobs never apologized for any glitches or programming
flaws made by Apple. There were many
mistakes made in the past by Apple dealing with programming issues, but Jobs defended
the products 100 percent, never offering any apologizes.
